The Messaging Enterprise Client Support (ECS) team provides internal second tier support to all of Microsoft by troubleshooting and resolving client issues revolving around the following products in our environment: Exchange, Active Directory, RTC, Office, Unified Messaging, DRM, SMIME and IPSEC support.
2. The primary role of this person will be to… Operations Analysts call customers, work with Remote Assistance to resolve issues on customer’s machines, and provide world-class customer service to internal Microsoft employees. This person will be expected to work toward meeting and exceeding existing Service Level Agreements for service requests, and will be expected to contact clients via telephone, Remote Assistance session, or e-mail in order to resolve their client issues. The person will also troubleshoot and diagnose client-related issues, and work to provide
documentation to be used by other technicians.
3. List the skills required for this position
Must have
· Strong English written and verbal communication skills
· Client-facing support experience
· Strong critical thinking skills required: includes troubleshooting, problem analysis and resolution, good judgment/decision making ability. A software test background would also be beneficial here.
· Strong interpersonal skills required, including teamwork and positive relationship building
· Genuine passion for technology and desire and aptitude to increase technical skill level required
· Microsoft MCP in Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000Server, or Windows XP Professional
· Timeliness. It is highly important to work a full shift and be on time for the scheduled hours.
