A handy Sony Ericsson tip

I bet many of you are irritated that in Sony Ericsson phones, when you connect the handset and a call comes in, the ringtone is played from the phone’s on-board speakers and not through the earphones. However, you can change that. Simply follow the few steps below and you are all set:

Go to: Menu >> Settings >> General >> Profiles >> Handsfree (More >> View and edit) >> Silent Mode >> On >> C (back) >> Accessories >> Portable h-free

Done! Now, whenever you plug in the handsfree, the phone will automatically switch it’s profile to ‘Handsfree’ and the ‘Silent Mode’ will be activated. Then, the phone will vibrate and ring in your ear when a call comes in. When you remove the handsfree, the phone will again switch back to the previous profile.
