Micro Windmill Mobile Charger
Some wise man once said - Necessity is the mother of Invention. Well, no doubt about that. Every mobile phone is accompanied by a charger because we all know that a mobile phone with a drained battery is a worthless toy. But what good is a charger if there’s no electricity point to plug it into? And how often do we find ourselves in this situation when the cell phone runs out of battery in the middle of a conversation and there is no place to charge it? This problem might be a thing of the past thanks to one Mr. N. V. Satyanarayana who is in the process of developing a charging device that uses wind tocharge the phone.
The Micro Windmill Mobile charger has a 5 cm (radius) fan that is connected to a small generator which is able to convert kinetic energy into electrical energy and eventually power the device connected to it. Interesting concept, and if implemented successfully, it can prove more than handy in lot of fields. The device is still under development but if and when it is commercially available, charging a phone is going to be a breeze… literally.
